Enola Holmes: A Movie With Mystery but Ends Without Revealing it!

Millie Bobby Brown gives her very natural and best performance while Henry Cavill is struggling as Sherlock Holmes because of the non-verbal dialogues that he was delivering in the movie. Mycroft Holmes, played by Sam Claflin. Well, there was not much he had to do in this film except just shouting and looking furiously at every character in the movie.

Enola Holmes’ mother left her on her 16th birthday and her two brothers came to visit her at home. They are busy in his life that they even forgot about their little sister and how she looks. Enola is a rebellious girl as her mother trained her to be like that. Enola starts looking for clues in the house about her mother and the secrets that she kept from her. Enola now realizes that her mother was actually hidden something very important and maybe dangerous things from her.
“Paint Your Own Picture, Enola. Don’t Be Thrown Off By Other People.”
So the mystery is where her Mother is gone without saying anything and why did she leave some clues for Enola to find out about her? Enola soon runaways from her home before Mycroft was about to send her to a boarding school for girls where she will be forced to learn about How girls should live and behave manly in this world of men. The theme is all about equality and freedom of women, that they are forced to walk a path that they don’t want to. Freedom is taken for a granted subject for men but women actually know it’s true value and now they strive for it.
“You Don’t Know What It Is To Be Without Power.”
On a journey to find her mother Enola met a young boy who is a very crucial person in the story as you will watch you will find out, here I will not spoil anything important! So this important person is hiding from a killer who wants to kill him. Now the mystery here is who has sent that killer, after all, to kill a young boy of a family that has a reputation of lords in London. Maybe an insider of a family who is very close and now wants him dead just like his father so that he/she will get the whole wealth.
“Oh, You’ve Plenty Of Time For The World. Let It Do Its Damage Later.”
Just like Sherlock, Enola has a very clever mind and unique skills that set her apart from anyone. She uses these skills very carefully in her hidden adventure from her brothers to live in the center of London without being seen or hurt. The fight between Killer and Enola was very intense and gripping to watch as Enola is an expert in Jujutsu and she is very well trained by her mother to get out of the situation like that. She is also mastered in deciphering the codes and she uses this throughout the story.
“There Are Two Paths You Can Take, Enola: Yours, Or The Path Others Choose For You.”
Enola if you read in the backward it is Alone, but her mother never wanted her to be alone in this world. Enola’s mother wanted her child to become free in this world to explore and choose her own path just like her brothers and she did in their life. In this journey of searching for her mother, Enola actually finds her path to living this beautiful life on her own. She is an explorer, decipherer, fighter, and most importantly she is a detective.
“Mother Said We Were Free To Do Anything At Ferndell … And Be Anyone.”
Watch this film and find out the mysteries of Enola Holmes but you will not get everything that you have expected but you will get something in a different way. I loved the acting of Millie Bobby Brown and the way she played the role of a character that just suits her. I have been a fan of her since Stranger Things — A Netflix Original Series.
